Monday 5th May – Easy Hike from Willow Creek to the White Barn and back.
Meet at Willow Creek parking lot (by the dog lake) for an on-time departure at 2:00PM.
Easy stroll along the McLeod Creek Trail, to the Farm Trial with a turnaround at McPolin Farm. It will be a 3.6 mile hike on very easy terrain; about 200 feet elevation gain with beautiful views of streams and maybe some beavers. There may still be some snow left on the path, but as it’s my first hike back in PC, I’m going for it no matter what. The pace will be about 1.5 MPH; take about 2 hours; no one will be dropped, including the leader whose hiking boots are still covered in seaweed; rest stops as needed. This will not be an Olympic Speed walking event.
Dogs are welcome, subject to local by-laws.
Map can be viewed here – https://out.ac/IBmqrk
Bring the four hiking essentials.
